procurement for housing logo

Procurement for Housing (PfH) is the UK’s largest buying consortium for Housing Associations and is the only national procurement consortium dedicated to social housing. Supported by the National Housing Federation, Chartered Institute of Housing and House Mark, PfH has been created to generate substantial savings by harnessing the collective purchasing power of large numbers of housing organisations.

The aim is to ensure all Housing Association members can procure goods from Merchant members at an agreed national price and as a supplier within the scheme, CF Anderson can provide materials at the quoted national blanket price. Not only are members making significant savings in the direct cost of materials through collective purchasing power, PfH runs a Central Billing system, significantly reducing expenditure accrued by their Housing Association members throughout the purchasing process and potentially saving £millions a year.

A ground-breaking new Account Card system is radically reducing PfH member’s administrative costs. The Account Card is presented on your behalf, by your contractors, when collecting materials and removes the need to process large numbers of low value transactions generated by Direct Labour organisations and contractors. As a PfH supplier, our computer systems will identify the card as being part of the PfH agreement, apply the correct price structure, compile purchase information and transmit an electronic invoice to PfHs Central Billing system.

CF Anderson and PfH offers value for money, efficiency, cost control, sustainability and simplicity. For more information regarding the products we can offer within the scheme, please call 0845 226 3011, or email new.business@cfanderson.co.uk
